Arraignment

An arraignment is a hearing in both adult and juvenile court where the individual is called before the court, informed of the charges they are facing, advised of their rights, appointed legal counsel, advised about the consequences of a plea, and asked to enter a plea of guilty, not guilty, or no contest.
