Drug court model

The drug court model is a collaboration between the courts, probation department, and treatment providers who work together intervening in the lives of individuals who are substance dependent or addicted. Individuals have proactive court hearings to give the judge an opportunity to hear how the individual is progressing and can utilize rewards or sanctions as appropriate.
